Join us for a one hour all-levels basic yoga practice, led by Julia Albertson - a queer yoga teacher, writer, wedding officiant, and dog-lover. We will navigate movement, breathing, and meditation in an accessible and light-hearted way, to help ease the intensities of this difficult time. A yoga mat is helpful but not necessary. Wear clothing that feels comfy and allows you to move freely, and consider having a glass of water nearby.

Local elections have a direct impact on the lived experience of the LGBTQ+ community (think anti-gay resolution, hate crimes laws, and protection from discrimination in employment and housing).

This presentation will cover information on upcoming elections and absentee voting and be led by Deb Drucker, Director of Voter Services of the League of Women Voters of Greenville County.

Art Journaling Workshop

Art Journaling is a way to express your thoughts, memories, and emotions visually by combining words, colors, and images onto pages of a journal, diary, or altered book. Connect with yourself and others while engaging in this fun, intuitive, free-form art making process, guided by prompts that can inspire direction for filling blank pages.

This FREE virtual art group offered by Amaryllis Counseling is led by art therapist, Courtney Chandler, MA, ATR-P, E-RYT, CACI. No formal art experience necessary, the only requirement is to show up for yourself with an open-mind and willingness to tap into your creativity and vulnerability.

Art material suggestions:

—A journal, sketchbook, or a hardcover textbook or novel that you won’t mind altering into an art journal
—Drawing materials: crayons, markers, colored pencils… Anything that can make a colorful mark
—Painting materials: watercolor, acrylic, gouache, house paint, food coloring… Really any liquid pigment will do!
—Collage materials: magazines, scissors, glue
—Stencils, stickers, feathers, buttons, or other fun embellishments
—Mementos: greeting cards, pictures of family/friends/pets

Mindfulness Meditation Workshop

JOIN US FOR PRIDE LINK ONLINE’S FIRST WORKSHOP!

We're kicking off our virtual programming with a Mindfulness Meditation Workshop facilitated by Gail Stephenson (she, her), certified meditation facilitator, on Thursday April 16th at 4pm. Registration is free, but required to join.

This guided meditation workshop is for all levels and will focus on the basics of meditation, practicing being in the present moment, and becoming aware of your body and breath.

Gail received her meditation teaching certification from Engaged Mindfulness Institute in South Deerfield, MA. As a bisexual woman who has been practicing meditation for more than 15 years, she understands the importance and benefits of meditation for the LGBTQ+ community.
